
Screening and selection process.
We perform extensive technical and non-technical screening of our potential
candidates through in-person and on-line technical interviews, reference
checks, background investigations, and verification of authority to
work in a particular country. Recruiters and Support staff screen candidates
for level of competency. On-line testing is also used to uncover additional
strengths and weaknesses in a candidate's technical profile. In addition,
we are able to conduct a number of background investigations prior to
candidate placement at client facilities.
Tangent's typical screening and testing process may include, but is
not limited to:
- Screening for technical/professional qualifications
- Candidate match with client culture
- Candidate flexibility and commitment to consulting work
- Criminal background investigations
- Reference checks
- Employment verification
- Drug screen (according to Contract specifications, if any)
- Automated technical testing (i.e. TechCheck, ProveIT.com, etc.)
- Verification of authority to work.
- Permission to submit to requirement
- Total compensation and availability closure prior to submittal
